As I have written before, my daughter died when she was five in 2011, two months after being diagnosed with an inoperable and malignant brain tumor. There is no cure for her type of tumor - DIPG - and current treatments do little more than extend life for a few months.

#1- My personal choice: Mercury Mountaineer w/V8. The V6 is a PITA if the timing chains go out, so stick with the V8. They are everywhere, cheap, and easy to fix. Also relatively comfy and can handle mild offroading

Yeah, the clerks at my local big box auto parts retailer generally can’t do anything beyond pointing me to the right aisle... and even that generally has a roughly 50% success rate in my personal experience.

Any unneeded anatomy is selected against, because there’s always some metabolic cost to produce and maintain it, and if it’s not producing a greater benefit that’s a net negative to fitness.

Pretty awesome. I just hope his life at home is stable enough for him to actually use it. I used to volunteer at a after school program, and so many kids/teens were there because their parents/guardians were negligent or abusive. I can just imagine him going home, and having his parents say, “You didn’t pay for that!”

So....it is different?
