YESSssssss.

WUT?

Fucking great. They leave Canada only to get new plus size clothes shortly after? Cunts, the lot of them. (Very happy for my plus size American counterparts, but I'm bitter)

I am also a sex educator and needed to comment to agree with you!

If you get the flu shot and deal with the side effects of fatigue and malaise, you're in the rare minority. I get these side effects every year, and it blows. For about a day, I just feel terrible. But I can still get up and go to work.

He had dropped out of high school and was 17. He had enormous ears, and an enormous nose and terrible teeth. But he had an incredible body, as 17 yr old boys who are athletic often do. He rode BMX bikes and could actually do some really amazing tricks. We had absolutely NOTHING in common. Literally zero common

God, you know - I feel the way you do ftmp but life just isn't that predictable. When I met my husband, I wanted to be a stay at home/ mommy tracked part time. I hadn't gone to University when I met him - but I didn't want a par of the 'rate race". Then I had kids and realized I was fucking miserable as a SAHM.

All hail queen you

internet hugs to you my friend.

Mmmmmmm

Well - I never said that too little added sugar was also not good - just that too little sugar was also bad.

Sure - anything in too high a dose is bad for you, though. Even water. But too little sugar is also not good.

oh noes, nott teh cemicilzzz!!

How about you post some *actual* sources (peer reviewed, reputable journals, reproducible results - no hysteria) and then we can really dissect what is and isn't going to make someone obese, cause cancer, and give you diabetes. Because there is lots to talk about! and lots of research

yup.

Yeah... If he/she is apparently a scientist I'm not really sure why they would be asking a random from the internet to do a lit review for them. Any actual trained scientist worth their degrees can navigate the databases easily enough to find the pertinent info.

Also, and I just posted this in another response - but you're missing the fact that there are immune cells present in breast milk and these immune cells are not digested by the baby, but actually become part of the baby's immune system. Because these cells only have shortish lifespans, this protective effect only

I'm not going to do a lit review for you - sorry - I just don't have time to dig for a compendium of studies. Plus I don't tend to research in exclusively publicly available sources and I am assuming a list of research studies behind a paywall wouldn't be helpful.

If mom is exposed to an illness while she is bfing, baby gets those new antibodies to help baby fight the illness.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to have public health campaigns that encourage pregnant women to plan to breastfeed, if possible. And once the baby is board, professional, courteous help should be available for the moms that are having trouble breastfeeding and want to continue.
