I read the WaPo article this morning - she demonstrated that prior to this couple charging forward with their public shaming crusade she was booked months in advance and had a thriving business in Dallas for years. Since the crusade she has sign two couples. Two. She had gone through her savings and retirement fund.

There’s almost no way she pulled $500K a year.

The facility where they had the wedding had her, the photographer, listed as a recommended vendor and this couple, while having their public temper tantrum, contacted the venue and bad mouthed her which caused the venue to remove her name as a recommended vendor so she lost out on all of that potential business not to…

Not to mention thay she also had to blow through her entire savings and retirement presumably just to get by, and that could be a hefty chunk of change plus lost interest if her retirement was a 401k or IRA.

Well, we don’t know how successful her photography business was. She lost two years of business-not to mention the impact this will have on future business. So, if she was a high-earning photographer $1 million could be a calculation of her lost earnings plus her legal expenses.
