I had no idea where the title came from. Fortunately, Memory Alpha had the source of the episode title. Beautiful, and very appropriate for the story that was written.

According to Memory Alpha, Farrell had requested to the writers to kill her character now, if they were going to. I'm guessing the writing staff realized that some viewers would know about her leaving the series and suspect a death, so it is a mild surprise to save her.
That is no longer true.
I noticed that in Sonia’s “What’s On Tonight”, she refers to this as “Zack Handlen’s Outer Space Fictional Station Support Group.” First of all, it’s REAL! Second, I was wondering why she was sowing dissension with other AV Clubbers, which makes me suspect that she has been replaced by a Changeling.
But considering that Burton was directing, I'd be worried that he would decide that "choked by a Wookie" would be an interesting euphemism.
I'm waiting for pro wrestling to move from the SyFy channel.
My memory could be wrong (been a while since I've seen EoT), but I think the implication is that the ruling group (the High Council) had abandoned the rest of the planet (Gallifrey). Early in DotD, the officers mentioned that the High Council was in session and could not be reached. Presumably, they had already…
I assumed that dwsNY and idiotking were different regenerations of the same person, plucked from their timelines to be put in the Disqus of Rassilon.
That was actually the reason Baker gave for not appearing: it was too soon after his long, storied run, and he didn't want to invite comparisons with Davison.
"You fool ! That wasn't just any piece of porcelain. You have defiled the Toilet of Rassilon!"
I'm so glad you wrote that.
I don't get weepy that often, and that scene really got me.
(I'm starting to tear up, just thinking about that.)
Surprisingly enough @drdarke:disqus , that wasn't what I had in mind. Just that it would look that way.
As others have pointed out, Tony Todd was in more than one episode, but not as a recurring character. Kurn, Jake Sisko after steroids and HGH… I thought he did a lot more aliens, but apparently only the Hirogen on "Voyager".
The Scarman bullet-time effect was remarkable, especially given how cheap most of the effects looked.
I did think that "Pyramids of Mars" should have been listed in the suggested stories for the Fourth. The tests in the Martian pyramid were clunky, but the rest of the story was brilliant.
Are you remembering that right? I was pretty sure the cat was actually Isis, gathering intelligence on the Syndicate for Gary Seven.
Who is this Sloane person you are talking about?
I don't remember seeing anyone with that name in the episodes so far (*hint* *hint*).
Really? I think both of next week's eps are better than this week, particularly "Wrongs Darker Than Death or Night". (But since I like this week's eps much less than most, YMMV.)
Sidney Portier, starring in, "They Call Me MISTER Bitey Richard Monster!"
I agree with his general statement, even though I see your point that there was more than just that ruining Mimic.
