All those early/mid 60s bands were basically cover bands playing black music for white audiences, and getting rich off it.

McCartney was a good bassist. Being able to sing harmonies and play an instrument simultaneously is very difficult. Lots of great musicians didn’t have to worry about vocals, and great singers didn’t play instruments on stage. But yes, Stevie Wonder (for example) was light years better than any Beatle.

Totally. Having worked at a medium-sized family run company and seen the grifting and embezzlement done by lifelong employee “friends” of the family, I can only imagine what family grifting does to a person’s outlook on life.

100% truth. Also on some of those big runs by Ajayi and Blount - Butler has good instincts and can mitigate those extra yards. Plus he is a decent blitz option and that was missing too.
