Do you know every resident in your bldg? In any case all she had to do was shut the door as someone else said and tell him to let himself in as per the rules. Everything she did after that was on her . Minding your business is always free and non-stressful.

I’d risk alienating him for the sake of the kids. She’s teaching them that ignoring this is ok/normal .
