Alan Weinaught posted the book spoiler below. DO NOT READ HIS POST IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LEARN THE MAIN MYSTERY BEHIND WAYWARD PINES.

Why would you ruin this for everyone?

I just finished the trilogy because I was intrigued after watching the pilot and impatient to know the mystery. I thought the books were great and kept me really engaged. The show deviates with the methods only of getting the same results as the book, if that makes sense. Basically, we're getting the same story (so

I'm also happy the show decided on a diverse cast. It likely isn't intentional, but I noticed everyone in WP is written as white! You'd think if you wanted to create a future for the human race, you'd travel the world to find the most intelligent and influential of our time, not just random (white) people. I loved the

Indeed. I considered that and could only conclude Pilcher's narcissism drove him to see if he could accomplish all that he did with the extended suspension, the town, and his "leadership." You're right, though, about those that chose that existence. The devolution of man was likely at least a millennium away from the

It's absolutely clever. All of these reviewers aren't even close to guessing what's really going on, so I'd say it's pretty smart. I really enjoyed this trilogy. Sure, Ethan behaved like an idiot at times, but this series was purely entertaining.

I thought the books were awesomely paced and so captivating; I'm surprised to see so many negative comments regarding the books.

This series will reveal what's going on by episode five, according to most sites. And the execs behind the series confirmed we will have all the answers in the end. This isn't going to be Lost 2.0.

They're both listed as being in all ten episodes on IMDB, so I expect to see them again. I love Terrence Howard in this; he's a fantastic villain, even if he's not calling the shots. Juliette Lewis is also great. This is a huge improvement from the frumpy cop character she plays in Secrets and Lies.

The ratings were atrocious live but the best increase of Live+3—Probable the poor ratings related to the Scandal & Blacklist finales on other stations. Definitely wasn't a good night for a premiere competing w/those two shows. Last night's ratings will be a better indication of how the show will do for the rest of its

Yes, glad to see her doing a role that suits her better than the frumpy cop on Secrets & Lies. Toward the end of the season I adjusted to the character, but at first it seemed like an awful fit for her.

Probably because many of us associate Fred Savage as Kevin Arnold & an eternal little kid.

I agree. They aren't good at handling multiple characters. Perhaps the new showrunner will get it all together, but we can only hope. The three of them handling missions with guest characters here and there and Reyes as Sheriff should work. I liked Andy Brooks and Headless in the early S1 episodes; it would be nice to

lmao. Funniest comment and no upvotes? Here's a meager one for you. Sheesh.

John Cho should come back now that Selfie has been canceled. I liked the creepy beginning episodes of the first season when we had an actual no-head Headless and the reanimated Andy Brooks creeping around town. It's like the show moved too much into drama and romance areas and forgot to be scary.

I thought he was leaving for a better opportunity, but now I'm reading it's a web series?? For someone that was an absolute cheerleader for the show, the "ships" of the show, and his fellow actors, something must have gone terribly wrong. I know the show lost the tax incentive to continue to film in Wilmington, where

Gotham is just awful. I made it three episodes too or whatever the one was where balloons were involved ugh i don't remember; I candy crushed on my phone while trying to get into that show, and it still sucked.

That's why the showrunner was fired, er, stepped down. The last two episodes of S2 were very good and the finale was a throwback to the pilot and well done. I'm glad they were given the opportunity to redeem the show because the leads have wonderful chemistry and there's still potential. Compared to half the drivel

This show is fantastic, original, and freaking hilarious.

We haven't seen the last of the other group, Will Forte confirmed in his interview with EW. I'd miss Todd's crazy self and Melissa. I feel like Erica and Gail weren't really fleshed out. All we got were some Aussie jokes for Erica, which were pretty funny, and that Gail is a horny older lady. I think they could both
