This was an EXCELLENT episode. Now as long as the bit with Abbie at the end is resolved tastefully I think it will be quite interesting to see her meet past Ichabod and convince him of their role as the two Witnesses. Well done, writers. And Katrina was so much better as a villain.

Thanks for commenting about MotW. People loved season one? Well, guess what? Season one was mainly MONSTERS OF THE WEEK!! Go re-watch if you don't believe me. I just started re-watching and so far, by I think episode four, there was a witch (not Katrina, a burnt one needing ashes of dead folk), the sandman, and

I quite like Hawley, or liked I should say as I'm assuming he's gone for good. The powers that be keep posting things to or about Matt Barr that have the air of finality. I wouldn't be surprised to see him again as a guest star, but that's likely it.

I'm fairly certain he's gone as one of the important peeps at SH was live tweeting and sent over a "best wishes, thanks for everything, you're great" tweet to Matt Barr, the actor that plays Hawley, I think if they added him in season one he would've been accepted. Overall, Matt Barr played the money-hungry playboy

Funny you say that, because Banshee I adored last year and just can't get back into it. Still holding out hope for Sleepy Hollow.

Strongly disagree with the Irving shade. Based on other reviews, I'd say your opinion is the minority. Hands down other than the Abbie and Ichabod scenes, Irving's story line was the most interesting of the evening. Actually the entire episode was very good, and even Katrina's peculiar behavior with Frank was

She is interesting only as an extension of Ichabod. At this point, she can only be interesting if she goes completely evil. Kill the character off and use the death as a plot device for Ichabod's suffering blah blah all that…Ha. I was thinking the same thing about the dress. When during all of this supposed madness

Well, they don't usually change the opening sequence when a character just isn't in a particular episode, do they? I've never seen that…I expected to see him because of the opening credits because he was "killed off" before the midseason break. Usually a show removes the person from the opener when they are truly

Ha…and the "angel" seemed to struggle to defeat these random, peon demons-of-the-week, which made me all the more doubtful of his angelic abilities. Can he do anything else other than fly and fight with his fists without that boomerang thing?

Isn't Irving still married? Well, I know he's supposedly dead but I sense a resurrection coming.

It's like they lure us in and suggest something is going to happen with characters and immediately forget about it. This is how Lost was toward the end when they had no clue where to go and just made stuff up. I think this even messier writing…I just read an article in which the showrunner (forgot his name) proclaimed

Fine. She can be naked as long as she dies immediately following.

I think he has more appear that Katrina. The acting is better and SHE JUST STINKS.

Please! I agree she is ruining the show, but the ridiculous corset they stick her in all the time isn't even working. The show looked desperate when they had her prancing through the hospital with the corset on AND a pair of skinny jeans along with her doofy smile that screamed "LOOK AT ME! I HAVE SCREEN TIME!" The

Katrina is awful. Make her evil (only possible way to make her interesting—the corset isn't helping, as much as they'd like to think it is) and give her limited screen time, and she can stay.
