He’s like the lost puppy who keeps getting found by the cute girls who wind up giving him away because they can’t break him of shitting the bed.

Women are trained basically from birth to have a creep radar. Men are not, at least in the same way. Men are not, at least in the same way.

The entire Jackson clan is complicit. They have proven that they are only interested in preserving their image. Every last one of them and especially that “see no evil” matriarch, who has spent her life looking the other way while her husband and kid fucked with people’s lives. They’re all evil.

The medical assistant who works with my mom in Florida apparently knew him as well and she said the same thing but that he came off as a little too intense for her. Glad she went with her instincts.

And people wonder why I don’t care about celebrities.

Step in and give her a hand. Make the fool stand back, or take him down.

This is the pervasive attitude that helps the perception that black women aren’t women and black children aren’t children just smaller versions of black men (and thus never in need of protection )

“She can handle herself”

Yeah I seriously don’t know how her fellow employees controlled themselves. I am just not a hold-you-back kinda guy when it comes to a justified beatdown. It’s like trying to interfere with God’s work.

“Whites have instilled such fear in you that you won’t defend yourselves, your families or your women...”

Can’t agree more, and I’m dissapointed in Michael’s take on this. The tone missed a lot, and there was no mention of the crew restrainig her at first...that was some fvcksh-t.

Agreed. This is where that tired-ass “strong black woman” trope bites us in the ass. Aren’t black women allowed to be vulnerable? Aren’t we deserving of help and protection? This is some left over slave mentality ish at work here, and it needs to stop.

Right?! My young againsty-ass was ready to fuck somebody up the entire time I worked in food/retail. I don’t do touching by people I don’t know.

“I couldn’t control you,”

He said the quiet part loud there.

Just because she could handle herself doesn’t mean she should have had to. Nobody - none of those other employees - helped that sister, in fact, they were holding HER back and did absolutely nothing to him, the aggressor. It’s appalling. Then her manager, instead of calling the police, tries to continue the

Glad she defended herself and got in some well placed punches on this asshole’s face.

For me, what was more disappointing was the fact those young brothers stood that and watched that sister get assaulted and didn’t jump in and throw hands as well!! This has to stop brothers, u can’t stand by in 2019 and watch white men assault our sisters... That has to end !!!

“I couldn’t control you,”

Excellent review. Now is not the time for a “white person needs an entire movie to learn to accept a black person.” Especially another one set in the past. How about one where they learn some shit TODAY?
