I don’t think the “corn industry” and “soy industry” really exist as separate entities. Too many huge agri-business companies that do both.

What’s the point of a Porsche without a driver?

It seems like a lot of pain could have been avoided if they just rolled with “Uncharted but Star Wars” as a concept. That really doesn’t seem like a tough concept to sell.

As I understand it, EA Redwood Shores now refers to the campus, but originally, the team that became Visceral was just called EA Redwood Shores (before other teams started working at the campus).

“As agreed, I’m working on X” is fine. “As agreed, you should be doing (thing that they haven’t been doing)” is a very passive aggressive way of reminding them.

Most banks will forgive one overdraft charge a year or so if you call them and ask to waive it.

Oh sure, I’m not excusing it. I’m more upset by this than most; I was well into the interview process for a position at Visceral.

EA didn’t buy Visceral, though. Visceral, along with EA Sports, are the direct descendants of the orginal EA development team.

Also, there’s almost always a divide between level designers and environment artists. Generally the level designer will get it to

I think the theory is that it’s more efficient to do everything in Maya than having to go through the import process for every asset.

In practice, though, I’ve heard their engine is a pain in the ass for artists to work with.

Yeah, Naughty Dog’s game engine doesn’t have a level editor. Artists work purely in Maya except when testing.

There are other toll bridges in the Bay Area, but unless you’re taking a bizzarely circuitous rout, you’re not gonna run into them between San Fransisco and Santa Rosa.

On the other hand, you’re not gonna avoid paying a toll unless you’re ok with hours of extra driving.

Muir Woods is gorgeous, but horrifically crowded during tourist season. There are numerous state parks, such as Big Basin Redwoods, that are ninety percent as pretty and ten percent as crowded.

Check out the Sutro Baths. 1920's era coastal bathhouse that was abandoned, and the ruins have partially crumbled into the

I’d add: If at all possible, start this process before they die. At a minimum, do whatever possible to encourage your parents to limit the accumulation of junk they don’t use.

Do a YouTube search for Occulus Quill/Medium.

I haven’t flown anyone but Southwest in a while, but on Southwest you can almost always get a seat near the front if you’re willing to accept a middle seat.
