Pose is not a perfect show. The acting is spotty, pacing questionable, and dramatic stakes near nonexistent. But I’ll be damned if it isn’t one of my favorite things on TV right now. From the characters to the actors to everyone behind the camera, the whole thing is just so QUEER that I couldn’t be happier. Can’t wait…

I’m wondering if the show had to create that entire subplot of Cole & the surfer-junkie in order to justify Cole’s later appearance at the AA meeting. If so, they did put a lot of thought into it... yet the coincidence is still tough to buy.
