Shit, did I misspell that?
…Slap some double O's in the middle of that last word and it could be the most offensive horror movie ever.

Oh yea, those family reunions can get pretty hostile.

Seems like rock stars only die in their 20s, 40s, and 80s.

I have heard Keith Richards say that he uses all drugs but, in moderation. That's something us young bucks never mastered.

I'm about an hour away from Hot Springs, guys.
Is Little Rock safer than Hot Springs, by the way? I've heard all kinds of horror stories about getting used to hearing gunshots in Hot Springs but, I've never really been friends with somebody who lived in Little Rock.

We kind of came to terms with his death a couple years ago, when he started having seizures at airports. It's just one of those things where you know how it's going to end.

That's actually the only album of theirs I ever bought…I'm not a poser, that's just the only album of theirs that Columbia House was carrying.

I've said similar things about the Foo Fighters but, I think the songs that weren't singles were rarely meant to stand on their own and they were kind of building a situation where the singles really hit harder.

Somewhat off topic but…they had a similar reputation to grunge that Pantera did with speed metal. Can we say some nice things about Pantera…maybe even some mean things about Megadeth?

I wouldn't go that far but, I don't mind you or Klosterman going that far.

I won't let you say all that without mentioning Soundgarden.

I really didn't expect all of this love, honestly. I expected a few guilty pleasure admissions and I was going to make my case for them being a solid band but…everybody's been making that case for me.

Concrete Donkey is probably right. I mean, I hear the same thing about people who are in the middle of quitting smoking.

Here's an upvote for your username.

…I'm sure there's dozens of others who would qualify.

I think I'm going to call it the James Cameron effect. James Cameron makes good movies, people call them great movies, and when people compare them to the legitimately great movies, they don't hold up and end up being labeled as, "bad".

Yea…you really should have been making those jokes about me.

It's fine. We all like this particular soap box.

Yea, I don't think anybody ever turned on them because they viewed them as hacks…well, some might have, but they were wrong. I think it was more of a backlash against a good movie that everybody keeps calling great. Their career isn't that different from James Cameron's career…

The song, "By the Way", is probably one of my favorite songs by them.
