I fucking love this guy. Granted, I’ve only seen one special, but damn, he had me rolling. He’s probably a colossal dickhead, tho.

I’d have to ask HIM a question : How do you feel about playing the captain that lost a Galaxy class starship (and Federation flagship) to two old BoPs commandeered by Ferengi?
Has there been tittays in any Tarantino flick?
as long as he doesn’t put the n-word in there.
At last.... green tittays!!!
She is right, and may be a better person than Louis, but she is less than 1/100th of the comedian he is/was.
The only question I want Jonathan Frakes to ask me is “Would you like to step over my chair and sit on my lap?” and the only answer is “Yes, Commander Daddy”.
‘she’s described Douglas as being concerned with “dynamics of power and privilege.”’
That’s a great point; he was. I don’t think Murray is incapable of being great. The problem is he is has been so richly rewarded for doing “absolutely nothing, but like, ironically” that he has leaned too far into it.
I feel like this comment was more relevant five years ago.
Is the internet still gushing over him?
Wow, you’ve been carrying that since October?
a town so Middle American they called it Centerville
I’m hoping this review will still remind me of Ebert’s far off the mark review of Wet Hot American Summer after I see it.
In Rushmore, it was a sublime note. But he’s never hit it again.
I thought he was just someone The Simpsons made up.
His reemergence seemed like a revelation circa Rushmore but he’s a one-note guy and that note has definitely worn thin.
I feel like Bill Murray is kinda eating himself at this point. Jarmusch definitely, alongside S Coppola and Wes Anderson, had a hand in this whole slightly ironic reappraisal of Murray as folk hero. And that whole process ended up with him popping up in stuff like Zombieland. That he's now doing something broader…
Everyone decrying the end of civilization will feel pretty stupid in 50 years. Just because you write it on the internet doesn’t make it any more rational than the guy wearing a placard.
The funny thing about the truth is that it doesn’t get less true the more you examine it.
It’s called Centerville because it’s from the movie 200 motels the Frank Zappa movie Centerville a nice place to raise your kids up.
