Why would he talk trash after they rehired him?

It has live / liv-ish content and is cheap to produce.  Cable TV needs that type of content as it rides out its death spiral.

I like the title, people don’t think about how the sun is a star in their everyday lives so it’s a somewhat poetic observation. Like “Humans are also animals.

Pain and Gain

He came off as a bit of a prick in When We Were Kings also IRC.

Beto O’Rourke’s campaign is rolling in its grave over this

I can’t hate on this. Giving someone like Rian Johnson control of Star Wars would have been my suggestion in a world without the Last Jedi.  I think the issue with Star Wars v. Marvel is Marvel has years of comic books to mine for stories that work.  Much less risk.

It got better after he left though. Agreed that it’s now deteriorated from seasons 2/3.

Mulaney ripped off Dr. Octagon

I dont even understand how you could come up with damages for stealing 5 jokes if he did do it.

Huh so she works her ass off? How can I be more successful without doing that?

I got to say Netflix’s deal to stream Disney content (which was pretty much designed to prevent them from coming up with a competitor) was brilliant.

Well this sounds gross.  What could be more feminist than arguing women aren’t responsible for their own actions?

Wiseaus claim re: The Room is the most ludicrous.

I feel like there is no parallel to the “would you like to know more” sequences that would tip his hand there.  Maybe it’s more subversive than I give it credit for, and certainly he approached the material with an outsiders eye.

I love both the book and movie, and they are basically arguing the exact opposite position.

I love Drive Angry. I don’t really think it’s a classically bad movie, they wanted to make a certain type of movie and succeeded fully (but not financially). It’s similar to “The Big Hit” and the Neveldine Taylor films.

There’s an attempt to reconsider Showgirls as actually a sharp satire on American sexuality that really seems like a stretch. It’s a fun bad movie, with several bizarre choices.

I think it makes sense, peace was achieved. Do the ends justify the means? Are we comfortable in this society with a megalomaniac basically pulling the strings? Could be good, I just worry it’s going to be generic good guys v bad guys crap with a rorschach inspired terrorist group as the baddies.

of course not, i remember him in die hard 3 though
