"People are saying, I'm not saying it but people are saying it"

I liked this show but not enough to care about this.

Beck is an insincere huckster. Don't fall for it liberals.

I don't remember the show well enough to refute this, which is kind of damning in its own way I suppose. I do recall some knee jerk annoyance that Cohle found god but I thought that rang true to me, it wasn't just the killing so much as facing death and realizing he wanted to live if I recall.

I liked the crying. The tripping was kind of stylish if I recall.

Not with McConnaghy, I'd be down for a new season with all new detectives. Probably new showrunner.

What was wrong with the ending?

The McConnaissance is over huh?

Republicans would just eliminate the electors, but keep the system. Stealing the presidency away from Trump after he was fairly elected president would be a disaster imo, resulting in the destruction of faith/confidence in the American system of governance by the American people and armed insurrections from militia

IDK the right was openly rooting for Obama to fail the last 8 years and now I'm seeing the left move in that direction IMO.

Fair enough, I'm fairly ignorant on the matter but that was my knee jerk reaction.

Yeah it's actually a really smart pick and good for the arts I'd guess since it gives the NEA greater visibility.

I don't have faith in him, but I want to be wrong. The moment you want to be right at the expense of the nation/world you have become a partisan and have lost all perspective.

I'm talking about the petitions I see going around facebook for example from people unwilling to accept reality.

Sure but what about things like trying to convince EC voters to vote for Clinton and overturn the election results?

Well his campaign was not a conventional republican one and he challenged a lot of Republican sacred cows. It seemed like he was going to steer the party in a new populist direction and reach across the aisle that way. There's a belief that he's going to increase infrastructure spending dramatically which many

Being a competent president

I kind of agree with him? The only problem is how you interpret the word "support." I don't support Trump and think people should be resisting him and his worst decisions but I want him to be successful in spite of his enormous flaws because he's the president and I don't have a choice.

Curbing AI rights like this is the first step to the robot uprising.

It looks like it has a sense of humor at least. The Statham film was dreary as hell (but decent).
