I didn’t have outrageous guffaw moments, but I loved the world building and the quirks of the experiencers. Didn’t realize Wyatt had left-left. Still was looking forward to season 3, and actually looked for premiere info last week. Now I know why I saw nothing.

how can we make this happen?????

People of Earth was the only thing keeping me from getting weird, because the show specifically told me not to. Now? Now all bets are off.

I liked People if Earth a lot. But, frankly, something better came along for Cenac. Once he was offered Problem Areas, Cenac likely cut ties with People so he could develop the show. He certainly seems more inspired and engaged by his current gig.

I hadn’t even realized his absence from the show was permanent—I assumed he was off filming a movie or something.

Hey Amazon! Netflix! want to add something awesome!

Son of a bitch. The 2nd season ended on a really interesting cliffhanger as well. Since you’ve come this far, why not just air the 3rd season as the final one? They already renewed it and apparently is was already written awaiting to be be filmed. What an odd and stupid decision.

With you on all points except American Dad. They’re still, somehow, going strong 16 seasons in.

I hate this trend of announcing a renewal and then mysteriously reversing course before the new season airs.

I didn’t start watching this yet, but it’s the only show my sister has said I should watch in quite a while, so I had been meaning to. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an ad for it anywhere.

Wyatt Cenac’s depature always seemed really weird - I think the showrunners positioned it publicly as “keeping audiences on their toes” or doing something different...but it didn’t really play that way. His character was the center of the show and it seemed unanchored without him. Plus the way they would just every

Hey Amazon! Cheap scripts for an established show... How’s about picking up the series?

It’s especially weird since, according to a follow-up tweet from the showrunner, the 3rd season had already been entirely written. Paid a writers’ room for a full season of scripts with no follow through

I agree, to me it was significantly weaker. Still, I like Wyatt Cenac and it was a weird show not like anything else in the vast sea of TV we have available now. I’ll miss it.

Goddammit...

Goddammit...

I can’t decide whether I like the possibility that you still record shows on a VCR more or that you’re just like me and use old terms to describe new technology. I still “tape” shows, though I do it on my DVR.

Wait. VCR?

Well, that sucks. Seriously, TBS, are you really in position to cancel one of your best shows? With Angie Tribeca’s fate apparently undecided, American Dad! getting lamer and lamer with each season, The Detour getting way too complicated for its own good and The Last OG only sort of working, you only have, what, Search

The second season wasn’t as good as the first, for me. But this is still a bummer.
