I felt it. The guy went down saving Denise and it obviously surprised Carol to see. Makes you wonder who the guy was before and how he got with the Wolves.

Yeah I thought that added an interesting complexity to the Morgan and Carol power struggle. And then linking into Rick’s overarching power struggle with how Denise and Father Gabe especially then changed themselves too.
I feel like everyone has skipped it. Even EW (where I go for actual recaps. I come here for the commentary). Wolf was shot and threw himself on a zombie and yelled “GO!” To Denise. Carol sees this and feels conflicted. Did no one else but you and I see this?
It’s almost as if we watched totally different episodes.
seems to imply that all men are capable of killing a woman in the event of rejection.
If you’re serious, check out the White Ribbon campaign. They have a lot of resources and suggestions for men and boys who want to be part of the solution.
A good start would be when you hear someone try to explain their fears, you don’t whimper about how that’s an unfair generalization.
Dude just stop. Only a whiny little boy can’t face the cold hard truth of our gender- we have a large, long, and statistically verified history of violence against women we’re attracted to. Women don’t. It’s us. Our problem. Sitting here thinking the stupid things you do is cowardly. A grown adult acknowledges the…
No, it’s not. Sacrificing 5 people for the good of 6 billion is not reason enough to eliminate 6 billion people.
Such a great book.
I character making a decision with which you disagree does not make the character dumb or wrong. It’s a story. It’s the choice the writers had the character make. I’m not sure why folks are so given to judging whether actions in a story were right/wrong, smart/dumb, etc.
I think I may have mentioned it before on i09 but this movie really reminded me of an old Star Trek episode called ‘A Taste of Armageddon’. The basic story is Kirk & co pull up to a planet that’s been at war with its nearest neighbor for 500 years. They’ve been fighting so long that they’ve completely given up trying…
Our three Maine Coon Cats actually require and look forward to human companionship. We also have two dogs. All five share the same deep emotions including love. People that don't see this in pets have some sort of observation dysfunction.
Am I the only person who doesn't accept at face value that humanity will be destroyed? The way I see it, we fought the gods before and, if not won, at least got to the present situation of compromise where they were content to accept a tribute. After the film ends, I think they are going to rough us up a bit more and…
I guess I just can't imagine labeling someone choosing NOT to die for a shitty system involving the perpetual torture and murder of innocents throughout history as a "selfish little prick".
Tucker and Dale vs evil should be required viewing for humanity
Agreed, mainly because it actually follows the book instead of just using the name and making a completely different movie and story that has almost no recognizable relation to the book.
You missed a big one...
Things the movie had in common with the book: There was a dog in it.
This movie...so awful...so wrong...an abomination that they were able to call it I Am Legend. The book though is perfect for this topic though.
