I'm still trying to figure out how my having toes that aren't painted/perfect and are, in fact, occasionally beat to hell and semi-destroyed looking means my vagina is a gross sewerlike dank mess. Silly me and my silly ladybrain. I thought vaginas and feet were totally independent things!

*highfive* I'm an ethical vegan. I've DEFINITELY got a conscience. However, I would not feel a twinge at all. It's not killing that gets me, it's suffering. There is a big window where we're talking about something without a developed nervous system that scientifically cannot suffer. I do not feel bad removing cells.

I'm sure some folks do this, but the only one I know who's ever done this is legit. She's got asthma and smoke kills her. When we'd run past smokers (or a lot of idling traffic) her exercise asthma and normal asthma sort of compounded and she'd hack. She probably did a bit louder than she needed to, because it drove

I just saw your clarification here! You're right that salmon + veg is like THE "healthy" meal just about every restaurant serves and is neither odd nor especially notable.

Since when is eating kale, lentils and nutritional yeast whackadoo? They are delish and you can pry my nooch from my cold dead fingers. That shit is magic and made of super special unicorn farts or something. Mmmmm, nooch. Your list of whackadoo stuff sounds like "delicious foods vegans eat" to me. Which maybe says

Haha. My folks got us this huge flat screen TV unexpectedly (I never ask for anything at Giftmas, so they go rogue) and I pretty much just use it for watching Netflix. Or playing Wii. I think we watch real time TV 10% of the year... just when our few favorite (still on the air, yay!) shows are running new eps. Even

No SLS. It's super duper biodegradable and ecologically sound, I guess. I usually buy all natural/vegan detergents or use good old vinegar/water to clean around the house, so I get ya!

You can have my TV when you pry it from my cold, dead hands. NETFLIX LIVES ON IT. ;) I prefer to eat decently (I love sugar, not sorry) and run crazy distances. I'm fit and healthy as a horse. If I wanted to get skinny skinny, I could clean up my diet. I'm worried that'll swing me back into EDNOS, though, so I just

I use Penguin wash on my running clothes. Let me tell you, my laundry smells like a boys' locker room at the end of each week. GROSS. The Penguin stuff (found it at running stores or places like Dick's) works way better on that funk than my typical Mrs. Meyer's!

Nope. Earth Balance buttery spread, yo. Shortening is of the devil and to be avoided as it is tasteless glop. Earth Balance, however, is fucking amazing. I make caramel, buttercream icing, biscuits, etc. with it all the time. Pretty much a perfect butter sub, IMO.

Well, Leonard is an a-hole. When Trevor the quail first was rescued, Leonard went all crazyeyed over him. Leonard was trapped in our backyard as a stray kitten, so he must have done some hunting. He is the mighty bug slayer, for sure. I think half his diet in the Summer last year was box elder bugs. Ick.

Haha. I like to make the cats my minions of scolding. "Yes, Leonard, daddy SHOULD help mommy more around the house. You are so smart! Half the dishes ARE his! That's an excellent point, sir."

Right there with you! But I like this deep end. It is fun to splash around in. ;)

Ah, that makes more sense. Still 1/4 once a week seems draconian! LOL. I'd have fought for every other day. But I'm vegan, so my diet is a bit less prone to being high fat. I love nut butters and avocados! Since I avoid extracted oils (unless eating out or... baked goods. Haha. Mmm.) I always feel like I've got some

1/4 an avo a week? Nope. Nope nope nope. Not doable. Seriously, though, what? A fourth an avo is hardly any calories. It's only 60 calories and 6 grams of fat! Plus, fiber, vitamins and it's a satiating food. I'd side eye my trainer pretty hard over that one. And then eat avos! :D

And I know a chicken rescue operator, a couple of farm sanctuary operators and owners, volunteers of those rescue groups and multiple others who deal with chickens as individuals who would say that you were incorrect.

I'm not sure what's better, adorable long haired guy or HILARIOUS HASHTAGGERY.

I've heard of/known vegans with high cholesterol. Since it's only partially related to diet, even not consuming any dietary cholesterol isn't a gimme. The folks I know who are vegan with high cholesterol have the genetically high levels/risks. They'd certainly be worse off if they weren't vegan, though! For sure. Haha.

I'm lucky that diabetes doesn't run in my family very much at all. So that's one risk factor out of the way! I know it's not all genetic, but not having it in my background helps some, I'm sure. :) One of my buddy's husband was found to be pre-diabetic at his blood screen. He is super skinny, active and a long long

Yup. My glucose is fine. I've been tested the last three years. All my blood numbers are impeccable. And I hyperbolize a bit. I'm not downing pints of So Delicious and bags of candy a day. I eat sweets regularly but not binge type levels. Most of the time. World Wide Vegan Bakesale Day? All bets are off. ;)
