I'm slightly crippled since I'm vegan and thus my donut window is smaller than the typical consumer. We had a local shop in the Twin Cities that made vegan donuts that were decent. Not the BEST but okay. They were cake and I really prefer raised, but beggers can't be choosers, right? :)

I am so jealous of your location. Minnesota is tits in a lot of ways but vegan donuts ain't one of them. :C I love you, PDX. *hugs whole city* I keep semi-waiting for a Whole Foods Market signmaker spot to open there. I'd be so tempted to transfer. Haha. Rain and overcast skies be damned! Back to Eden and Voodoo and

The ones at Voodoo fall firmly into the "Divine" category.

Nope! I'm nearly 100% certain it's an Ol' Dirty Bastard donut from Voodoo in PDX. Raised donut, chocolate iced, peanut butter drizzle and oreos on top. I've eaten my fair share of these bad boys when I visit the Vegan Mecca that is Portland. I was the happiest ever when I nabbed one.

Is it sad that I can tell those pictured are donuts from Voodoo in Portland? It's the dual dots on the Portland Cream that's the tell. And I know an Ol' Dirty Bastard when I see one. And my god, the apple fritter! I'm assuming those are the vegan varieties of all those kinds and I'm going to lick my screen now, k thx

Aw, my kitties are great. My Mollycat goes nuts when I come home after any sort of absence. The longer I'm gone, the more happy she is to see me. She actually will leap onto my shoulders, wrap her paws around my neck and face rub me into oblivion. Haha. She HATES my suitcase and often sits inside it like "hey, you're

I fostered cats for years and it was simultaneously the best and also the most difficult thing I ever did. I had 25-30 foster cats and wanted to keep 98% of them. I kept one. My Mollycat was my kitty soulmate and I couldn't let her go. She had to stay. She's still my special baby girl!

;) I'm not one of those "clean eating" vegans. I like my vegan treats and love things like soy curls and seitan. I don't really have issues with calories because I'm willing to put delicious, delicious almond breeze ice cream in my mouth regularly. ;) It'd be harder to get enough calories if I were "for health"

So this! I hear so often "I could be vegan except for cheese". So? Don't eat animals/animal products except for cheese. It's not some rule that you have to be vegan to help animals. Eating no other animal products but cheese is still doing a lot of good if your reasons are wanting to help animals!

I completely agree that "for health" vegans have a harder time. If I was vegan for health only, I'd be making exceptions left and right! Since I'm vegan strictly for animal rights reasons, it's easier. When the reason I'm doing something is for my own benefit, I have a huge HUGE amount of wishy washy "oh just this

*high five*

It can be hard at first, for sure! I am a Wisconsin girl so giving up cheese was the hardest. However, I don't really think of it as "giving up" anymore. It was hard when I was thinking like that and focusing on what I was losing. Once I shifted my mindset over to "I'm choosing to not eat this because this product

I've been vegan going on 10 years. I've been running marathons and ultramarathons for the last 3. I don't find it hard to train and run well as a vegan. There are loads of vegan athletes (I know yogis, kickboxers, tons of distance runners, etc.) who are just your average joes and loads of professional, super talent

What?

Are you seriously referring to the author of this piece as "it"?I don't care if you agree or disagree with what she's written, that's a super shitty, dehumanizing thing to do.

Though he is ridiculously good looking!

He looks so dismayed. "Aw man, where did my clothes go?"

*high five* Bra buddies!

I bought something similar to these called Genie Bra and they are COMFY. They do jack shit for my boobs and don't lift or seperate or make them levitate or anything but man, so dang comfortable that I give zero fucks. Also, no weird bra roll over in the back so that's a plus.
