That was the general election. But the DNC didn’t “so-called” torpedo Sanders. He just didn’t get enough primary voters to win the nomination.

No one rigged anything. More people just voted for Hillary. That’s why she got the nomination.

No, the blame is on voters. They’re the ones doing the selection.

I do feel you left something important out: the same people who claim to desperately want her to go away* will also throw tantrums if she does not address any issue that crops up fast enough for them.

Agree, but I feel a need to jump to the defense of Korra more often just because it receives a lot more hatred.
Legend of Korra is a great show and we need more creators to take a chance.

Well, what is it with Avatar fans and the need to degrade, demean, and belittle Korra?
We’re trying to defend a fantastic cartoon here.

Now there’s an opinion I can get behind.

Season 1 and 2? You’re right
Season 4? On the same league as Last Airbender
Season 3? Probably the best of BOTH Avatar series

Hmm...I mean...Ok, I preferred Korra’s story. Perhaps it’s an age thing. It was harder for 25 year old me to relate to a petulant 7 year old than it was to a teenage coming-of-age story. Visual Quality overall is very similar, but I’ll argue to the grave that Airbender’s fighting “choreography” is significantly

What is it with Avatar fans that they need to demean Korra? I find both good but they were targeted at different audiences. Avatar skewed younger while Korra older.

I disagree so much. If nothing else, Korra’s animation was about 10,000,000% better. Stories were comparable in quality. Aang is an annoying little fuck, while Korra comes off as passably relateable.

We need to show everyone that fans of Legend of Korra do exist, and we will not be silenced. We appreciate the world created by Bryan Konietzko & Mike DiMartino in LOK. We are not stagnant.

It’s always sad when people give up before it gets good.

Oh yes

So close, it even eclipses it

agreed

Agreed! People are just too stagnant and unwilling to accept change. Like those genwunners with each new generation of Pokémon.

Gotchya, its a bit like The Legend of Korra then... Korra takes a while to find its place as well, its not until halfway through the first book that the ball starts to roll.

What is it with you Korra fans that you feel the need to demean Avatar?

“Ultimately less satisfying” my ass. Korra was a much better show.
