I briefly thought it was Anna Camp aka Season 4's Bethany Van Nuys/Sarah 'beat a woman to death with a stilleto while vampires feed on the blood draining through a grate' Newlin from True Blood.

Last night I watched Rabbit-Proof Fence and I'm still depressed today.

(Andrew Garfield, on the other hand, was a bit more of a surprise)

Amen, that kind of quippiness is one of the main obstacles that keeps me from liking Joss Whedon's work. The most glaring example for me in The Avengers was the exchange:

There was a bloc of shows made by the same people they used to play in the afternoons in the late 90s/early 00s, usually some combination of Saved by the Bell: The New Class, USA High, Hang Time (about a basketball team), California Dreams (about a band) and City Guys (about… ummm… guys in the city?) and I would watch

The gag is left intact in NZ/Australian showings of this episode!

I caught a repeat of this recently and got pretty confused by the fact that, when the children riot, they are shown tearing down some rugby goalposts in the field. Are we to believe Springfield Elementary is some kind of magical *snort* rugby playing American school?

I love the 'all of us, in the audience, of what happened' part of the story so much.

Oh man every. Damn. Time.

Amen. 'Cold War' from The Archandroid was an incredible song that touched on similar themes too.

Yeah, 1 was definitely worse… though if Goggins had been available for the whole season, who knows what it could have been?

Amazing - I have only seen them once and it was the single greatest pop-culture related moment of my life and probably top 5 moments over-all.
