I've started to dread every episode of E&B and it's incredible.

Yeah, that was amazing. Because we had been informed of the attempt on his life in the previous scene I started off convinced he'd make it but by the time Dunn arrived I had no idea. Incredible stuff.

Your Split Enz avatar is awesome.

Canterbury won whatever the NPC is called these days so I am happy.

That final 10ish pages and Oedipa's long, dark night of the soul investigating the W.A.S.T.E. system are both absolutely incredible. No film could do Pynchon justice, I suspect.

If you like S1 of Justified, you will likely adore S2. And yes, Raylan is incredibly likable and an absolute dreamboat to boot.

Yeah, I unfollowed Homeland on TV Club today having given up midway through season 2. Masters of Sex I'll give the season but my expectations are pretty low because in general it is a handsomely mounted nothing.

I wish I didn't laugh out loud at that but here we are.

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say this is one of the crowning achievements of 21st century comedy.

I had a (non-native English speaking) girlfriend who was taking a high level English exam and the voice on her tutorial CDs was similarly identical to Richard Ayoade. This was about 2007 and we'd been smashing out Darkplace and The IT Crowd so neither of us could listen to the lessons without pissing ourselves with

" My aunt lives in Scotland, she says it's quite nice…"
"WELL SHE'S WRONG!"

This show started my (extremely one-sided) love affairs with Matt Berry and Richard Ayoade. Easily the best purposefully 'bad' show of all time…

I was home alone this weekend so I spent Friday night watching the first few episodes of Friday Night Lights Season 5 on Netflix. This is the only one I haven’t seen so far and had high expectations but definitely wasn’t let down… it’s amazing how assured the show was, to the extent where the only original Panther

She is incredible, have fun.

I used to live in a neighbourhood with a very large Korean contingent and always had a fridge full of fresh kimchi. My work lunches were always canned tuna, steamed rice and kimchi and it was amazing and I miss it…

I watched The Frighteners recently (??) after an article on it here and it made me terribly sad to see pre-earthquake Lyttleton in all its glory.

Someone near the camera is absolutely loving the show in the second video. At one point you hear him say "Oh man!" because, seriously, gay Superman guys.

I think I saw a movie about your class, didn't you all stand on your desks and recite Walt Whitman at one stage?
