Oh man do I use that Simpsons reference a lot, one of the greats.

@avclub-85bd06050f1868adf468605465df26f8:disqus I moved to Australia last year and my jaw hit the floor when I saw employees wearing shorts to work on casual Friday. Since them, I have joined them and I love it.

The clip show is when it jumped the shark for me, I'd put up with diminishing returns for so long before hand but that just made me turn off the television as soon as I realised there wasn't going to be new material of note in the episode.
"Could be worse," - that rodeo clown in the Obama mask
It's weird and it's silly and it's ridiculous. That is why I hate it, that is why I love it.
I never much cared for Hearts and Bones growing up but the title track of the album was one of the highlights of the Paul Simon live show I saw earlier this year.
A merry-go-round in the parts of New Zealand I grew up in (I can't speak for those weird, scary people in the North Island who do things like refer to high school as 'college').
The main redeeming feature of 'Something Happened' for me is the scenes with Jen/Roy getting common phrases wrong and being humiliated for it - I have a habit of attempting to use words I've only ever read and pronouncing them horribly wrong, only for my friends to mock me for years afterwards about it so that joke…
I'm in exactly the same boat on both songs - I really thought Dance Apocalyptic had the potential to be a Hey Ya! for the 2010s but, hey, what do I know?
Might make Mike missing/Or blow up Gus Fring: Great couplet or the greatest couplet?
"Kent, I'd be lying if I said vampires weren't committing crimes…"
EVERY SIMPSON DANCE NOW!
I believe that in that episode Homer says the line "I'm a people person… who drinks," which is one of my top 100 Homer lines. Otherwise, it can go fuck itself.
@fieldafar:disqus @avclub-954aef1dd01f3d3bb8e12966116cfdd1:disqus Ah thanks. I think I've seen enough of American Dad to know it's not for me though.
Trans is amazing! Like, actually! It has some not-so-good songs, but Computer Age, Sample and Hold, Transformer Man and Like an Inca are all brilliant.
Yeah, I mean, come on… all he did was drug and anally rape a 13 year old and then flee the country to avoid serving time for it. And the victim has forgiven him, so leave him alone… as soon as a rapist's victim forgives the perpetrator in an attempt to get along with their lives, the perpetrator is immediately…
Yeah, he did far, far worse in the 80s than Slow Train Coming and Shot of Love.
Hey, not a fan of American Dad but love Community - what is the relationship between the former and those two episodes of the latter?
