A Helen Clark/5th Labour Government with the same focus on progressive social policies but less '3rd way' economic policies.

I will go to my grave defending Tin Machine II, yes there are some horrible tracks (Stateside) but Shopping for Girls, Baby Universal and the aforementioned Goodbye Mr Ed are all very good songs. The first Tin Machine album is pure shite though, almost as bad as Earthling, Tonight or Hours.
I'm not particularly knowledgable about comics, but Mark Millar wrote Superman: Red Son, right? That was pretty good although nowhere near as amazing as the concept could have been.
Here in Australia 'Behind the Candelabra' is playing/did play in cinemas, though I have no clue about the gross. It was pretty widely advertised though, at least in terms of 'posters at major train stations', which is the most prominent form of advertising I see.
@avclub-5dedb42b34e50082065a783265ce28a8:disqus Ha, my mum was a bit like that, she'd always ask my brother and I if there were any 'young women or young men' in our lives, and vice versa for my sister. Unfortunately for her, both my brother and sister are engaged to members of the opposite sex and I am physically,…
Yeah, I had my first proper kiss (the first non-proper one was with a girl who was dared to kiss me) with a girl I met at model UN so I'm a fan.
Your eyes are beautiful… I mean, dude, would you like to attend a sports match together or something else similarly masculine?
You were so wee!
That untied shoelace is actually upsetting me, I can't look at that picture any more because of it.
Oh man, that fucking song… I've gone from laughing at it to being intensely annoyed by it right round to kind of sort of loving it!
I haven't enjoyed so far how each season has ended brilliantly and then the next season seems to drop back down to second gear at the start, only to crank back up at the end - fingers crossed S4 will be better paced!
He should have at least waited until the end of the evening, rather than doing it when they were stuck on the boat.
How long does it take you to brush your teeth? Wow, it takes me half that time!
Wait, are you implicating mums in the GCSB scandal???
I got into Eno via an issue of Rolling Stone when I was 14 where Thurston Moore listed his top 10 albums - Taking Tiger Mountain was one, others included Neil Young's On the Beach and Dinosaur Jr's Bug - if I ever meet Thurston, I need to thank him profusely for introducing me to all three!
@avclub-057667becf2d6f53a5cb71f24fdd11b4:disqus Google tells me it was released in cinemas in November, 1998? I was in 3rd form and about as far away as you could be from losing your virginity! I saw the film on DVD during a 'date', on Waitangi Day, 2001… and am still amazed that it happened, even 12 and a half years…
I was Baratheon (probably my second most desired, after Martell) and lost, got wiped out by an unholy alliance of Stark and Lannister. Stark and Martell have the definite advantage of not having anyone flanking them at the start.
I've seen that film far too many times too, especially for someone from a country where summer camp doesn't exist.
Ha! The latter is far worse for me, specifically because I remember most of what I said and did leading up to it; I am rather befuddled that it happened at all, based on my memory of how it went down. In terms of the former, I'm 29 now, I'm pretty sure I'm much more of an embarrassment to my mother than the other way…
Collins shows up as a drummer on at least one John Cale album too (Helen of Troy, from memory?) - I never liked Genesis but I definitely admire his skills. And then he opens his mouth…
