Don't know if you frequent the fandom, but the general consensus from the fandom is that the mane 6 are in their 20s or at the very least late teens. The EQG version of them are mid teen to the very most late teens since they are high school seniors.

It's very trippy indeed. However, if you keep watching the EQG series further it starts making sense and pretty amusing. You just have to swallow the fact that dimensional travel is within the capabilities of these ponies.

First ask the girl, if she is a pony in disguise. If she slaps you then most likely it's the brain tumor. :(

If this movie focuses more on their characteristics instead of pop-culture references it's gonna be a hit. :) That's what I can't stand with most of today's animation.

I'm really glad that Hasbro even used 2D for this film. It would be darn shame if it was 3D like Jimmy Neutron. That would have sucked so much.

That's the Equestria Girl's series. The ponies enter another dimension (namely mostly Twilight Sparkle, and most recently Starlight Glimmer) and see that Magic of Friendship exists in other dimensions. The ponies can now essentially go from their world to our world and have crushes on humans. :^)

So who is ready for the movie? This brony is! Finally, the mane 6 gets the red carpet treatment they deserve. :) Woo!

It is established that they can speak english in the very beginning of MLP:FIM. It's just an established truth. Also I think they have more languages in Equestria since Pinkie spoke Spanish, and AppleBloom spoke French in episodes. XD
