Nope. I’ve tried watching a few of Allen’s movies because of the praise. I sat through them going, “I don’t get it. I don’t.” Each movie may have one or two scenes that are good. But a couple of good scenes doesn’t make a good movie. It just makes a couple of good scenes. They work better as youtube clips than whole

I think the real reason people work with Allen and Polanski is not because of pay or being a fan of their movies but because it’s an almost guarantee for several award nods. Oscars. Baftas. Golden Globes. Whatever is out there. You do one of their films and you are instantly seen as a “serious” actor. Which could lead

I don’t blame men. I don’t blame women. I do, however, think it’s ridiculous that they can all stand there and think how powerful and aware they are because they dressed in black and gave these prepared sound bite speeches. Hollywood’s galaxy wide ego in itself of how powerful and righteous they are just gives me a

No, I didn’t go through a “cool girl” phase. In fact, that whole “cool girl” speech from Gone Girl was a thinly veiled, “I am not like other girls,” speech in itself. It was ironically misogynistic. And I hate that people bring it up as something “feminist” when it’s the complete opposite.

That was one of heck of at intro. No slow burn at all. (Pun not intended.) Just bursting right out of the gates. It went from, “Meh. I guess I’ll catch it when it comes out on DVD” to, “I would watch that on IMAX. Now.”

With this story, I don’t feel sorry for her. She got herself entangled with him when she cheated with him knowing full well he was married. The guy who was willing to cheat on his wife and kids with his leading actress is a manipulative schmuck? All my stars and garters. Color me shocked. SHOCKED I SAY!

Okay, I see where you are coming from. And I agree. Fandom, in some points, has been aggressively, I don’t want to say violent, but dangerous in many ways. Like you said, people are willing to doxx other people over ships or for not agreeing that the writers are spawns from Hell because they killed their characters,

No, that’s Hipster New Year’s Resolutions. Different things.

What happened to you that led you to this?

What’s your superhero novel about? I love reading about other people’s books.

What do you want write about?

Finish my horror novel. (It’s a thin, slow burn one. Shouldn’t be that hard.)

The movie is coming up fast with a February release date. They need to put out a better trailer like NOW. Thor: Ragnorak put its Zeppelin trailer almost half a year before its premiere to psyche people up. What has Black Panther done? Come on, Marvel. You are usually ace at promotion. Where is the hype? You can’t only

Bad story writing?

Complain all you want but they are the ones shelling out the money for the titles. If you want to see new stories and new characters, pick up the comic. Not pirate it but actually buy the title. You can even buy it directly from the publisher and have it for your tablet/phone. Don’t even have to go to a stinky, icky

How about how no one thought of doing a fuel run? The Resistance clearly knew smugglers. So, getting fuel should not have been that hard to do. They could have fueled several of the smaller ships and just scattered. The whole lets keep the entire Resistance in one squad makes zero sense. Mostly, because we’ve seen

I don’t know what was worse, that bit or making Finn a deserting coward AGAIN after giving him a hero arc in the last film. The only reason he didn’t bail was because Rose caught him and knocked him out. So much for being brave and loyal to his new family. That scene showed that no matter what, he is going to ditch.

Sorry, the Guard fighting scene felt hollow given what we’ve seen Kylo and Rey could do with their own powers. That scene should have lasted as long as the Indiana Jones fight in the marketplace guy with the saber. Kylo and Rey should have either shoved them against the walls using the Force and knocked them out or

The best thing the Legends writers did was make Sara the leader. I love Rip but he’s more of a man behind the curtain/mission given type character. Sara is the one who goes charging into a fight with guns blazing and can convince everyone else to follow right behind her.

No way. Alex wants the quiet life of a cozy house with a white picket fence, a sweet, doting wife, two kids and a dog. (Though I can also see her having a farm with an easy going wife and a whole mess of kids, both biological and adopted. And everyone is raising sheep, chickens and goats.)
