I’m imagining Peter’s gonna take more of a mentorship role or a more global role after Marvel (hopefully) retcons One More Day

That female astronaut suit looks incorrect. Aren’t the midriff, thighs, and cleavage supposed to be showing?
The Terminator mythos isn’t really that interesting so I agree that Terminator without Arnold is just kind of boring sci-fi. His appeal is too intrinsic to what’s exciting about the franchise.
So it seems like most of these are closer to mini series than movies. True Detective could be called a 10 hour movie by these standards.
I thought it was canon that Gendry made it to the inn that Hot Pie is a baker at and now they opened up their own small blacksmith/bakery shop. But what’s this? A baby at the doorstep! Oh no, how will these two ever hope to raise a baby while paying rent to their crotchety, but lovable landlord!
I don’t think it’s putting all the blame on the “non-dreamers”, it’s just calling into focus the way our media and people in charge have convinced people to accept doom and gloom to the point where it’s more comforting. Trying to do good takes effort and it’s at an even bigger disadvantage when everything we see is…
Can any one who speaks the language explain the last joke in the Ward one? I’m assuming it was some sort of punchline
The last trailer made me very weary, but am I in the minority for not being bothered by product tie-ins? Product placement when it’s egregious (like the Sears logo occupy the top third of a frame in Man of Steel) is annoying, but it’s been done fine (like ET).
It’s very interesting to see the contrast between Deadspin’s and Grantland’s reactions. The latter discussing why the scene was terrible while still analyzing the context of the show and the former going with an attention grabbing headline and writing off everything else as “boring”.
Is this a live action movie or is there gonna be a rotoscoping type look to it?
Reminds me of Freakazoid
I agree that CGI is a great tool that can be used to great effect, but three shots in particular stand out as cartoony, where I can see the strings so to say: the red skeleton ghost crawling out of the hallway, the possibly same ghost in the bathtub, and the hands reaching out of the door. At that point it felt like I…
CGI just isn’t scary. How can I be frightened when the monster is clearly not in the same room as the actors?
Crossing my fingers that this isn’t the movies’ color palette
Please stop calling us POC
Is that shantytown part of the set or is that just Atlanta?
Will Civil War pass the modified Bechdel test? A scene featuring two non-special people talking to each other?
Definitely not a villain. He was actually trusted to rule Wakanda for a handful of days while T’Challa took care of some business. Granted, his incompetence led to Wakanda falling in the hands of one of BP’s greatest enemies, but it was done with good intentions (he did it to save BP)!
I don’t think the Hulk is saving him at all, it’s ruining his life and tearing him away from a place where he belongs. Meanwhile Widow is firmly entrenched in a position she’s earned through her actions in the MCU.
Washington Post had a great counter argument to this:
