God, I want this game to be re-released, in the West, on last gen systems so fucking badly.

you...pretty much stated the exact opposite of every conversation I heard of assassin's creed ever with the Desmond thing.

We all know that blowing into an NES cartridge is a useless and potentially harmful activity. But why did we still do it, even though it never actually worked? Science has the answer.

Wasn't that good game design? Take the only healer in the party, make him obnoxious as fuck, a terrorist, and then you usually end up murdering him prior to the final baddies for being an obnoxious terrorist.

Played through it like 4 times, the story significantly changing each time I did it. Even the gunplay could be fun once you got a decent bit in.

The Maiden Astraea boss fight is the greatest in Souls history. The music is phenomenal, and exemplifies the grey area the game gives you as to whether you are truly the protagonist, and a tool for good in this universe. The game is basically a shooter. Sometimes you find a cool way to hack, but then the game PUNISHES you for it.

From a number of reviews from various sites the gist seems to be that Watch Dogs is an average open world game that acts more as a proof of concept than a fully fledged title in a similar way AC1 was more of a proof of concept and they perfected it with AC2 (With the series going downhill from there).

While Kirk plays his way through the entire game in order to get our formal review done, I thought I'd pass the time
