The way the city seems to be setup it looks more like warlock master of arcana.

The new one retell the some of the story of the old one, so watching both back to back would probably feel a bit boring. So far they only re did one episode, but it was very ham fisted and was somewhat lacking anything interesting to say. So overall I’d recommend the first one.

Pretty much everything they obtained today was offered to them before they started the strike, they wanted more, the studio said no, they went on strike, garnered 0 interest, went back to the studio to take the deal that was offered back then.

FM5 would need some modification, it had an incredibly annoying mechanic where you needed to go trough an incredibly boring rogue like mini game to get new part (which made no sense story wise).

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d just reboot the game. ME1 with better gameplay and ME2/3 with completely different story would be very welcome.

Civ leader have always been terribly balanced, especially DLC one. Look at Montezuma, super fast district building and start with stronger warrior to easily capture every neighboring town.

It’s a good game but it feel a bit different than 1 and 2, both in story telling and gameplay, but if you liked the franchise you should still like it.
