Bought a $5 car from the local superstore with silver base and blue stripes. Stripped the paint and painted it white and got some vinyl tape to do the pin stripes. It was one of the most fun projects I did. Sits on my desk now at work.
Company I worked for had parts supplied by Elring Klinger. Because they’re German owned it was kind of a forced deal. Result was the shitties parts ever with unprecedented complexity. Still in production and they haven’t fixed all issues. People have quit over dealing with them. Nobody wants to take up that project…
