My guess they changed the release date it happens a lot

My guess is rogue takes place before darth Vader died and before anyone met Han Solo. It would probably explain why darth Vader is in it but not Han Solo. Also rogue one is mostly likely a darth Vader anthology film would be my guess the next anthology film is about Han Solo

That was probably just a rumor or something that was made up if it was true it would not still be happening
