Yes, I enjoy the pop culture posts on Jezebel, including Dirt Bag and Tweet Beat. The MAIN reason I’m here though is for the stellar writing and reporting on feminist issues. The authors here are badass. Please, Gawker, don’t make them pop reporters first and feminists second.

Their harmonies are spectacular, and they have great voices. The fact that they sound so clear and pitch-perfect on a shitty phone recording is really something.

Nursing is a predominantly female occupation and as such has routinely been dismissed as a less than vocation for exactly that reason. We have to fight to be taken seriously ALL the time. I get shitty comments…
