Dude, I'm Scotch-Irish, and I burn first...and then am bronzed for at least a year. Scottish people can totally tan. Also, usually have green eyes. I think that's actually what sold it for me. Almost all of the Scotch Irish people I have known have had the same green eyes, bronze-y red hair, and tan skin with freckles.

Actually Leo is only two years older than Jay Gatsby is in the novel. The age difference between Daisy and Gatsby is huge. I am concerned about Carey Mulligan though. She has the right look, but Daisy's a complicated role.
