We don’t hate women, not all of us, we just hate the awkward double standard. Beat a woman at a sport and its expected, lose to one and you are ridiculed. Let her pass you and you get called out for being to easy on them, give a hard tackle and you are bullying. It is a no-win situation for men.

I think she fits in well with the “teen mom” cast because theyre all in the mid twenties with 3 kids too.... thats the profile at this point. They were teens when the kids were born but obviously arent anymore. 

From my experience I have seen more female fans, but it’s not to say that there aren’t male fans out there. Also we are more progressive now. Back then and especially in the 80s the segmentation between boys and girls was real. To this day there is still a perception that “girl” toys won’t sell for action hero movies.

Actually, I kind of doubt it. A lot of stuff from our growing pains progressive media years in the 90's is subject to a lot of backlash nowadays for being reductive and flat, or alternatively for actually being super insensitive while trying to be inclusive.

Not sure if you knew this already, but there actually was a Japanese live action show called Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon from the early 2000s. If your daughter is old enough to tolerate subtitles, I bet she would really love it.
