What most of those articles seem to have in common is that the authors sound like they really don’t like having children, so it offends them when others have it “easy” by just having pets and using parenthood language. If you sincerely enjoyed your children, you’d probably feel pity or at least be neutral about pet

And last night Mike Pence’s plane skidded off the runway at LaGuardia. Eek.

A lot of kids really did like That’s So Raven though. It unfortunately ushered in a wave of terrible Disney Channel sitcoms with laugh tracks.

“Two pre-teens” ? Unless they’re 9 or under, how does that even work? There wasn’t a teen pregnancy storyline on That’s So Raven, right?

Is that like a station for young artists who are rude to their fans?

That ad was creepier than I expected...

I know that pushing a crosswalk button won’t make the pedestrian signal turn on any faster, but there have absolutely been times when I’ve failed to press the button (for whatever reason) and the walk signal never came on. I’m not convinced they’re totally useless in all places.

🙄

I’ve never seen you post this before! Do you know what the show was going to be called? Has anyone written an article about this? I’m just fascinated, to be honest (why was he trying to start a gender war among high schoolers?) You’re not joking....right?

I lol’d

I just heard about it earlier this year & I spent my summer watching it. So good <3

It’s on November 28

I want permanent Daylight Savings Time 😠

There’s another movie in the works about her starring Scarlett Johansson.

Haha. Or like a mini series that only releases 3 or 4 episodes every year, like some British ones.

There are a bunch of adaptations that are coming out/are already out. A new tv movie came out earlier this year in Canada and coming out soon in the U.S. There’s a film adaptation of the musical coming out sometime in the next year. Then there’s also this Netflix adaptation (which I’m most looking forward to!)

(and now to reply to myself...) I really hate when book adaptations are all depressing and dreary. I feel like I’m always trying to watch some BBC adaptation or something or other and all of the fun of the original book is sucked out. That’s not always the case, but I’ve been bothered by it too often recently :/

I think it’s tricky adapting Anne of Green Gables. In just one book the character grows from age 11 to age 15/16ish. If you’re using just one actress, many of the plot points won’t make sense based on the actress’ age.

I’m so excited for this adaptation! I hope they don’t make it too depressing though... (from that quote, it’s hard to tell) That actress looks adorable.

I’ve been seeing a lot of rave reviews for The Handmaiden but I had no idea it is an adaptation of Fingersmith! That makes me even more eager to see it.
