I think that’s probably true. I wonder how much this girl understands about right and wrong? Her mother has made her lie about illness from a very young age. Not to mention, her mother intentionally kept her malnourished and made her take who-knows-what pharmaceuticals for years. I can’t even imagine this girl’s brain

Were you not into classic literature or adaptations maybe? Some kids aren’t. There’s also the fact that Anne herself is a little overly-precocious, haha.

L.M. Montgomery released books for decades, so some are in the public domain and others are not. Anne of Green Gables is in the public domain (granted, this may differ depending on the country)

I believe Netflix bought the rights to this particular CBC production for international distribution.

May I ask what you were interested in?

I would especially love one that plays up some of the darker/occult elements in the Emily series. L.M. Montgomery herself was interested in spiritualism and she added some of those elements to her works.

I was so into classic children’s literature when I was little. I read a million books by L.M. Montgomery, Louisa May Alcott, Frances Hodgson Burnett, etc. I wasn’t super into the tv/film adaptations though.

I need a new Emily adaptation that’s actually done well.

It seems like a bunch of different people are adapting Anne of Green Gables right now. There’s this Netflix series and the TV movie mentioned in this article, but there’s an additional movie adaptation being made as well, I believe.

A hard “s” sounds like a “z”

That’s really great they’ll be showing it in schools. When I watched the trailer I was wondering if it would be appropriate for high schoolers, and that answers my question!

Except it’s not because the FTC has rules regarding this kind of thing?

There are teenagers and children who follow the Kardashians on social media. Why do you think the very young Kylie and Kendall have become so popular lately? Many of these minors who look up to the Kardashians are genuinely ignorant about this type of advertising.

lol. And as others have mentioned, women calling their sexual partners “daddy” or other paternal-terms has been around for at least a few hundred years.

When someone goes into anaphylactic shock they literally do not have time to mess around with vials and needles. Not to mention, if the person loses consciousness, other people around around them need to be able to inject the epinephrine.

ah, I didn’t realize she’s actually popular on Twitter. It’s not a site I use much, to be honest. I’m sure she must make good points sometimes, but in this particular case she’s being ridiculous and just incorrect...and doing it so vehemently.

After I was told not to, I obviously had to look it up. This girl is....something else
