It seems like a bunch of different people are adapting Anne of Green Gables right now. There’s this Netflix series and the TV movie mentioned in this article, but there’s an additional movie adaptation being made as well, I believe.

That’s really great they’ll be showing it in schools. When I watched the trailer I was wondering if it would be appropriate for high schoolers, and that answers my question!
Except it’s not because the FTC has rules regarding this kind of thing?
There are teenagers and children who follow the Kardashians on social media. Why do you think the very young Kylie and Kendall have become so popular lately? Many of these minors who look up to the Kardashians are genuinely ignorant about this type of advertising.
This old article of theirs goes into it too http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2007/11/p…

ah, I didn’t realize she’s actually popular on Twitter. It’s not a site I use much, to be honest. I’m sure she must make good points sometimes, but in this particular case she’s being ridiculous and just incorrect...and doing it so vehemently.

The article says Chloe Grace Moretz (I'd prefer Ariana Grande, tbh)
The movie doesn't have quite enough songs for a full live action musical. When they brought The Little Mermaid to Broadway, they added extra songs, for example. They'll probably keep the popular original songs and then add additional ones.
That was my first thought too! But now I’m really excited it’s going to be a Menken/Miranda collab. If they’re writing new music, then I guess they won’t be using the songs from the Broadway adaptation? (not that they were very good anyway...)
I don't care why people are decorating with vintage items. It's recycling and saving items from heading to the landfill.
Is this going to be a full 30-minute show? Because ugh...
In addition to being a woman, Katy Tur comes from a Jewish family. There were already reports out months ago that Jewish reporters were being harassed by anti-Semitic Trump supporters.
