Damn. This really is an early-2000s Britney Spears knockoff. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’re in for a 00s revival for about four more years. She should stick with the bubblegum retro thing she did for her first album - it obviously worked for her.
I’m somewhat like that too. I’ll never stop reading a book partway through. HOWEVER, I don’t usually feel compelled to read the sequels, so that’s good at least.
That reminds me of how I graduated high school ten years ago already :[
I also highly recommend it! It’s fascinating.
But only for about three years :/
Agreed about the book! It just wasn’t very good :[ And it made me mad because it’s so popular so I was expecting a lot *sigh*
I’m glad a lot has been changed. The book was awful. Great premise, but bad execution.
I’m excited for this! I read the first book with a lot of anticipation, but found it not well-written at all. The pacing was off, the target audience was badly defined (it read like a book for 11-year-olds, but featured a teen protagonist who thinks about sex, swears, etc.), and it weirdly veers into a standard “save…
Carpeting is gross anywhere in a house.
Lol. I think I did (half) watch that one. I don't remember anything about it though... I like to have late night shows on in the background when I'm doing chores or browsing the Internet - I feel bad when I don't pay attention to scripted shows.
A whole half-hour (or, ya know, 22 minutes) of this sounds so boring
It’s crazy how everyone keeps moving the goalposts for this woman. When we first heard about the story people said, “She’s so selfish! Why doesn’t she just adopt?” Then we find out that she has adopted children, and they said, “She’s a terrible person to have a biological child when she already has three adopted…
Filibusters bring attention to the issue which is the point.
In some countries thieves have been known to cut off women’s ponytails and braids to steal their hair :(
It makes sense for them to acknowledge reality.
That's good to hear that Disney kept you guys supplied.
The satanic panic of the 1980s was so fucking weird. The ouija board was a common party game when it was first sold in the 1890s.
I totally relate! I’m living in Southern California right now and even when it feels cool to me (in the 60s or 70s), I’ll still definitely get sunburned if I’m outside for awhile. I need to be better about putting on sunscreen *sigh*
