I mean, the songs *were* created by actual Broadway songwriters. Robert Lopez worked on songs for Frozen and also did songs for Avenue Q and The Book of Mormon. The dude’s an EGOT.

I think another one of his daughters is named Lexie, and a character named after her was a character in one of his books (then she’s killed off in its sequel....) Ugh.

So, like I said somewhere else, I went through a huge Nicholas Sparks phase when I was 18/19. One of the creepiest things about his books (to me, at least) is that he names all the main characters after his family members. So like, after his wife, his children, etc. A lot of the time one of the main characters dies…

If you read his books, half the time the guy dies and the other half the girl dies (*sometimes* the couple gets a happy ending, but then someone else is obliged to die). Yeah....I went through a huge Nicholas Sparks phase as a college sophomore.
