Oh dear. Where do you work???
Oh dear. Where do you work???
If I weren’t in grad school right now, I’d be living at home. As it is, I’m hoping to find a job near my hometown after graduating so I can live at home for a few years while I pay off student loans. I know people do it, but I don’t want student loans hanging over my head for the next decade (or longer).
A for-profit preschool run by a former model with no educational background in early childhood education? Who the hell is sending their kids there?
Haha. Sometimes I’ll browse random forums I’ve found on Google and once I start seeing those acronyms (DH, DS, DD) I know I took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up with not my kind of people.
Which is worse: Hubby or DH?
I feel you. I recently finished 9 months in daycare centers and it spurred me to go to grad school & get my teaching credential and Masters in education. Not that teachers get paid much, but it doesn't even compare to the pennies that early childhood educators get.
Looking at points C & E together though - I don’t know. If there are less and less spots in the middle class, parents are going to stress about their kids getting one.
They were the subject of a tv show called Making the Band. They were supposed to be the next Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC, but that obviously didn't work out too well for them. The show came out when I was in 7th grade and my friend was obsessed with them. I thought they were dumb, and I had been quite the boy band fan…
So, my roommate has a stack of DVDs in the living room. One of them is Gifted Hands. I had no idea what that was until reading this story...should I be worried? (Lol)
They’re not exactly the same kind of stores, but Target and Amazon often have similar products. Department stores have some of the same products too.
I’ve always thought that Bed, Bath, & Beyond’s full prices are a lot higher than similar stores with the same or comparable items.
That’s how I was at age 24 too! Don’t be hard on yourself! It took me a couple of years, but I figured out a career plan and now I’m in grad school getting my Masters & teaching credential. Being in college again makes me feel a little juvenile (haha), but my program is very practical and almost everyone else in it is…
Is he though? Unlike some of the other GOP candidates, he’s very effective at getting his conservative legislation passed, which is not great if you don’t support those policies. I’d almost rather have some ineffectual buffoon in office than a competent conservative politician who pretends that he’s moderate.
And teens act so superior about not knowing old people celebrities....hmph.
Some do call it Oz.
I just turned 27 (two days ago :( ) and I certainly do not feel like an adult *sigh*
Are these internet celebrities even going to college?
Why not use West Coast times for the whole story? It's only 12:30pm here - 2:30pm hasn't yet happened.
Hmm. Are you sure? I'm remembering it being present tense. But I only read the first book, so maybe it changes.
I was in DC a few summers ago (I’m from California so I don’t make it east too often!) and I loved going to the National Portrait Gallery. It was fun and the building (the old patent office) is really amazing.
