Though weirdly, I’m not really into Difficult People. I watched 2 or 3 episodes, but haven’t tried to watch more. Does it get funnier? I feel like it’s sort of depressing and mean-spirited and isn’t funny enough to overcome that. But lots of other people seem to like it.

An explanation for ‘Hello Kitty’ is that she’s big in Japan. Like, really, not a joke. She’s not huge here in the States anymore (idk about her native Canada), but her albums tend to top the charts at #1 or #2 when they’re released in Japan.

I know why they don’t like it. I was just shrugging because that Reddit post was basically the only non-4chan page discussing “beta uprising” on the first page of Google results. Obviously it’s not a widespread term (as of yet)

I’m from a college town and so’s my area code. I used to get a lot of wrong number calls from college students who’d forgotten to put the right area code when dialing. But like, they were usually drunk...

I really enjoy it! But take that with a grain of salt, because I’ve been starting to get into late night shows lately (mostly because I can “watch” them while messing around on the internet and it doesn’t matter if I miss anything)
