Thanks. And, well done, Ruby.

My DVR cut off the end! What was Ruby writing?
When she told Debbie she wouldn't support her, I felt it like a physical pain. She is so good in this role.
It just sucks. But, here, have some commiseration from a total stranger out in Internettia. I am so sorry for your loss.
I hate it when this show gets me, because I always think it could be so much better than it is. But, my dad has been dead for 13 years and dammit if Phil Dumphy didn't just make me miss him like it was yesterday.
That anasthesia joke made me laugh right out loud.
I once got stuck on a 45 minute trafficky cab ride to the airport with a cabbie who sang along loudly to the local Christian rock statement. After that experience I feel pretty confident that most pro-Jesus songs are terrible. IOW, I think avclub is making more a statement about the music than Jesus.
But the woman before was singing "Angel of the Morning," which seems a little, uh, heaven-y (there's probably a better word…) So you choose to stay or go home - probably no more choices than that. That said "Blow Jobs and Belonging" sounds like the title of a memoir - a memoir I would read the shit out of.
I feel like the fact that the karaoke wheel landed on "Homeward Bound" was the majorly significant. In this universe (and out own, I guess), loss is random and confounding. But when people choose to leave (like Laurie and Evie) that's what really fucks you up. Kevin chose to stay. If that's the point the series…
I thought it was just nonsense, which is not hardly the first time a joke has gone over my head. But I still don't get it. Help?
I just finished The Gunslinger and think this would be great. Although, since I'm getting ready to watch Fargo, I think Bokeem Woodbine would be better. I think Bokeem Woodbine should be all the rest of the bad guys forever.
Made sense to me too. But more because, of course,Lou would pick a stranger to open up to. He's got to be the rock for everyone else.
Gutted. For all the violence and mayhem going on, that was the scene that just gutted me.
