I've been concerned with this "great number of unhappy people who feel like they have zero autonomy over their lives" for years, having lived in the south. I can get how they wanted change - life in America for anyone not making something like 50 grand a year or more is precarious if not downright awful, and I've

Taking a cue from Dan up there - sex. Lots of it.

After reading this and only seeing her on Bob's Burgers (or "only hearing her", whatever), I've discovered that there's a paucity of Kristen Schaal in my life. Those clips of her in Flight remind me of my girl friend who once was much the same for the accordion player in a local band.

Good thing we made you comment though.

I was just about to compare what I saw to Jupiter Ascending and you beat me to it. I think this already looks better, but how could it not? JA was silly but not much fun, but if Fifth Element is anything to go by, this should have some fun buried in there even if it's stupid, sort of how Lucy did.

I've been seeing a lot of this recently and it's not just true of the Dems.

No, but yes-ish. I too thought of that while watching it.

Now if I could only figure out which group it it that tends to pull out into the crosswalk while they wait at stop lights and ignore yield signs and pedestrian crossing lights.. If it helps, they tend to drive trucks and larger SUVs.

Maybe we should retire the phrase GJ,I! too, in favor of something less hyperbolic that just suggests mild interest. "I Read That, Internet" or perhaps "I Clicked It Internet" (if we wish to be more honest about things).

In other words, if they're behind the wheel, they drive like dangerous fools. I know this as a repeated pedestrian.

Willingly watch Alex Jones?

I think this is the third time I've seen "this must only be a straight dude thing" in these comments, but didn't Dan run a letter from a guy in a gay male couple that wanted this?

This guy being for Trump tells you just about everything you need to to know about Trump, I think.

Yay, people posting snide comments on the internet!

They did a decent job at capturing the cadences and voices of the original.

One of the things I think I enjoy about reading these write-ups you do is the usually very sound observations you offer of your own on the subjects. Thanks for those and taking the time to do these.

Great article, Shakespeare.

Yeah, thinking about it, Chock tracts were some of my first exposure to this virulent form of no-nothingism. I'm sure it existed previously of course, but this was when it was a little harder to find; now it's everywhere you look. Thanks Donald!

Big, faceless light-bulb-headed God, you mean.

Whoever is spinning that at Goth Night doesn't know what goth is and just thought "eh, it's 80s, this must count as goth, right?"
