Well, I wouldn't put it past her, she's had an interesting life and often tires of my sad devotion to David Lynch and Werner Herzog.

My girl friend who is in her forties would disagree with you, she has a visceral fear of them like most people do finding a large spider crawling up their chests.

I'm not a huge fan, my GF is, but I do enjoy watching them enough with her that I'd read those, and point her to them as well.
