This will probably get me some downvotes or something, but i had real trouble getting into RiffTrax. I don't think I ever tried any of their actually "tracks to go with your DVD" thing, and certainly there are always lots of terrible movies out there, new or old, big budget or not, but a couple of disks of the shorts

The sound design on the show was also fantastic. I still to this day associate the sound of a static-y radio squee with insanity like they used in Space Madness.

The way to avid this I've read is the way supposedly music producers use in the studio. They recommend you start the device at ZERO, no sound, then turn it up until you can hear the music, and not one bit more.

Mentioning the Forbidden Zone in relation to this feels like it's insulting the Forbidden Zone.

My usual stash of Harpers and New York Review Of Books *pushes glasses up nose* You'd never know I'm writing super hero stories for a Kickstarted game project!

Who has time to read books? I'm still trying to catch up on my TV!

Beards of all sorts galore!

You could study entomology and have both!

It couldn't have avoided being depressing porn if Lars von Trier himself made it.

Thanks oh Beema!

Any word on if the George Bush-looking head from Game Of Thrones is going to make an appearance?

I'm thinking of always posting "Doctor Who again" in these threads, but I actually haven't watched one for about a month now. At least we still have you, Werdup!

This weekend, aside from the usual Bob's Burgers we use to kill a quick 20-odd minutes, the Girlfriend Justice Machine and I watched Burnt starring Bradley Cooper, whom I now want to punch in his handsome face. Terrible film! It basically has his character learn he's not doing things well, which is OK and all, but

Huh, I actually liked him in my twenties. How come I didn't get laid as much though???

I know at least one of these cinematic palaces has been in something of a decrepit state for decades now, and I'm willing to bet the sound system's at least half shot from the sound of it and has something to do with this.

I've never been to this theater, but the couple of art house theaters I know well here in Denver suck, mainly because THEY PLAY THE MOVIES AT VOLUMES LIKE THIS. GIRLFRIEND JUSTICE MACHINE AND I HAVE TAKEN TO BRINGING EAR PLUGS TO EVERY MOVIE WE SEE BECAUSE OF THESE THEATERS. TURNS OUT "NORMAL" MOVIE HOUSES AREN'T

Really, it's more the fault of easily hoodwinked investors. "No, really, the time is so right for another Flintstones movie! Everyone's forgotten by now how awful that last one was. Yeah, it was terrible, I was trying to turn that thing around but Burt just tied my hands on the financing. But not this time! With

I wouldn't wrist it, personally.

The dusty hall of forgotten dreck. Sure, occasionally someone lost down it stumbles across something so hard to believe that they can't help but bring it back to us to marvel at, but the odds are long, slim and that lightning never really does ever strike twice.

We've truly hit peak sequelitis and Kickstarterotos. Hasn't humanity learned that the risks of making "a comedic horror film" can never outweigh the slim chances for success?!
