This will probably get me some downvotes or something, but i had real trouble getting into RiffTrax. The sound design on the show was also fantastic. I still to this day associate the sound of a static-y radio squee with insanity like they used in Space Madness.

The way to avid this I've read is the way supposedly music producers use in the studio. They recommend you start the device at ZERO, no sound, then turn it up until you can hear the music, and not one bit more.
