My local paper presented the moon landing is a hoax “side” by having their local crank satirist drag them up and down the pages. He flat out calls them idiots.
Not to mention, did he ever stop to think about whether the flipped script were true, that his white child might learn better next to a non-white one?
And CNN is just stupid for bringing him on.
Obligatory:
Fuck I don’t want to punch my computer screen. So I’m not watching that segment. And Spencer deserved to be punched. Repeatedly. And CNN is just stupid for bringing him on. That is not the kind of debate you have on TV - do not force people to be exposed to Spencer’s shittiness. The reason we punch Nazis is A) to…
The only good thing that came out of busing was that the poorer black schools that had white students bused in had a significant increase in funds to purchase textbooks, lab equipment, sports and equipment for the first time ever. Which is further evidence that Sanders was correct.
Biden, you dipshit. It wasn’t that black kids learned better next to your white child; it’s that they were learning at a school with your white money.
And for all the “you are free to leave”-ers in the greys who don’t understand something - many things - can be racist and nationalist at the same time;
Bingo. It all rings of being very well-planned; she amplified that stupid rule, and amplified the racism of Trump, by breaking the rule and then requiring the Repubs to make a huge deal out of it. That speech is about to get amplified, bigly amplified.
Great speech for the occasion. The masses should like that whole Jesus thing... and that “take it up with the parliamentarian, bitches” exit was great.
I see what you did there
Most of those restrictions on calling the president what he actually is were added 2016 it seems. Looks like Paul Ryan was prescient and even though continues to be abused by Trump, his actions continue to shield Trump.
Great lesson!
Hmmm, I wonder if there’s a rule on calling the president a liar during joint addresses.
So here’s a fun lesson in US Congressional History that this brings to mind - the “Gag Rule.”
If I’m reading that correctly, it looks as though many of those rules were added in 2016 and 2017. Why would a Republican controlled House add such rules limiting themselves like that?
Maybe -- and hear me out -- the woman that knows the rules better than most other people knew this was the actual fucking rule, and explicitly -- as Speaker -- made the comments on the House floor to force a vote on this exact thing?
