If the goal is to highlight the squalid conditions that a group of people is being kept in, a group of people singled out by their countries of origin and ethnicity while being compared to vermin and using other dehumanizing terms, then concentration camp IS the exact fucking term.

Here’s the thing. Let’s say you had a friend who got really sick and then discovered that they had cancer. Let’s say that they got treatment, fought like hell, and ended up in remission for the last couple of years.
