Its just silly how long it takes the unicode consortium to approve new emojis....then each OS still has to decide if they will allow it in their core set. There is a small startup company out of Colorado that is delivering smarter emojis to the smartphone keyboard in real time. That is where this industry will end up.

Yeah we are all a bunch of bookworms in Colorado :-) Interesting info graphic on emoji usage - there is a company out there that is making smart custom emojis that link to stuff ( called Karmies ) I wonder if Swiftkey might start using them?
