I feel really ambivalent about this. Surgery is always risky and performing surgery on a fully functioning. healthy body also seems like an uneahlthy desire to me. But then again I am not trans, but I feel the same way about any cosmetic surgery.

I don’t think you can compare anorexia with being transgender. Would you give liposuction or bariatric surgery  to someone suffering from anorexia nervosa?

I have the same thing. It’s a vicious cycle. Your anemia makes your periods worse and heavy periods make your anemia worse. I find that using some ibuprofen to reduce the bleeding and taking iron tablets a few days every two weeks helps a lot.

Or alternatively it might help to care a little less. Caring about work when a lot of people around you care more about office politics has let to me current burn-out.
