I dunno if that’s quite accurate. They could both fall under the same genre if you cast it wide enough, but I’ve always thought of God of War as a Brawler/Beat’em Up game and DMC as a Stylish Action game. Those may be subcategories of the same overall genre, I think the differences between the two are great enough to

YES! How is that so hard to understand?

So this means that a football player doesn’t understand consent between legal adults? That’s...pretty much expected.

They were, but they were also very, very, very old. After Gruden left, they had one good season and subsequently fell apart. I doubt that Brady could have stopped that. Let’s not forget, the man at the top was still Al Davis. The Raiders being good was more of an accident than a plan.

This is pretty much what I wanted. I’d have the Browns or Raiders select him, so he falls into a black hole of failure and the Patriots are never a thing. It would be glorious.

It's incredible that such language needs to be placed into any Olympic agreement. It says a great deal about how the IOC is viewed everywhere, namely that no one looks at them favorably any more.

Most of the time, the most effective strategy is to simply pull out your gun and shoot. Once you obtain the shotgun, however, there's a little more nuance. In Resident Evil, players can shoot forward, up, and down. Enemies often temporarily fall to the ground after a few shots, which gives you a chance to put them

Their storylines are a little bit different. While the plot moves in the same general direction, it's substantial enough to warrant a second playthrough. There are gameplay differences, too. Jill has fewer inventory slots than Chris, but Jill carries a lockpick around, which gains her early entry to rooms with

It would be great if Rockstar released a new Max Payne game. Max Payne 3 was a fine game from a mechanical standpoint, and the music was solid, but the only missions that weren't trash were the ones that took place in NY/NJ that served as Max's backstory. Brazil just doesn't make any sense for him, and canonizing

J-Mart has an aggressive anti-shoplifting policy.

As you have The Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, you could add the following as well:

Yes, understanding the business end of gaming is pretty unique, thanks!

The smaller install base isn't really of issue, as most of the development costs are already accounted for. The port doesn't take as much time or money, so it's still a winning proposition for developers, else we wouldn't see them. But again, since the new systems don't have huge libraries, DmC could prove to do well

Yeah, obviously there are other factors, but it contributes. Past generations have been able to differentiate based on graphics, but in general, we're getting closer and closer to an uncanny valley as it is, so those improvements take longer to manifest on the new consoles, than graphics did on previous jumps. The

Part of it is Moore's law, that the number of transistors on an integrated circuit will double every two years. If you're doubling 100 transistors to 200 and doubling 1000 to 2000, you aren't doubling each's computing power...you're increasing it exponentially. So...8 years now is a bigger leap forward than 8 years

In this case that's not necessarily true. DmC at 60 FPS would be an appreciable difference and worth playing. It's no different than GOTY editions for games, like Halo 4, Borderlands, Arkham City...it's one of those, but with superior tech specs. Some people don't buy every game at launch, so those GOTY collections

If this is what's needed to get a sequel, then sure, I'm in. I really enjoyed DmC, even if it wasn't as good as some of the previous entries.

I was able to pick up a new copy of it at my local Gamestop for only $20 a few months ago. I was waiting for it to drop in price, and I hadn't seen it anywhere for a while when I stumbled across it. I'd say it was money well spent...it wasn't a perfect game but they did a pretty good job of capturing the sheer oddness
